Research on College Entrance Examination System

Due to the high risk and great influence of the College Entrance Examination system, every single detailed measure will has great impact on many people. Therefore, the College Entrance Examination system needs to have a scientific and democratic process of decision making, and has to be under the discussion of the public. Thus, 21st Century Education Research Institute initiated research on College Entrance Examination system, and pushed tangible reform through policy advocacy.

In 2007, the 21st Century Education Research Institute has issued the very first version of non-government reform plan of College Entrance Examination system, and furthermore issued the second version of State Guidelines for medium-to-long-term education Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020), which first came out in 2009. In 2014, at the critical period of policy hatching, the 21st Century Education Research Institute issued the third version of the reform plan.
